When to Hilbert Kaplan was only 25 years, it has opened the first magazine. It was the person very persistent and purposeful, it was given to work completely. Therefore it is not surprising that for fifteen years of work its magazine became one of the most leading editions and left in huge circulation. But to achieve such success to Kaplan it was necessary to work as twenty-four hours straight.

But suddenly at the age of 40 years Hilbert Kaplan sells the successful business.
What happens?

All the matter is that once he has heard Mahler's Second symphony. Music has simply admired it! The melody has touched his soul. It seemed, in it feelings which very long slept before have woken up, and he did not guess at all their existence.

Besides, he has decided that Mahler's Second symphony should be played a little on another. It seemed to it that this product actually is even more magnificent! That he heard in its opinion was not worthy great Mahler's name.

Therefore Hilbert Kaplan has sold the enterprise and has decided to become the conductor. All experts have been assured that it is a silly invention. At such age to begin career of the conductor without any knowledge and skills it is impossible. Acquaintances simply chuckled at Kaplan's ridiculous invention and named it an eccentricity. After all before Kaplan never conducted, did not play any musical instrument, did not know any note.

But without looking on what, Kaplan has not lost a spirit. On the contrary, its purpose became still заманчивее. It would like to prove to everything that it can become the conductor. It has lifted for itself(himself) a lath still above: he has decided that will play Mahler how anybody yet did not play this product to it.

And he began to work much. He studied at the best conductors of the world, it constantly worked over the dream. And in two years it was carried out!

In 1996 Hilbert Kaplan has played the most successful classical album in the United States. The same year it, as the known conductor, has opened festival in Salzburg.
